Structural Channels, known as PFC's (Parallel Flange Channels), supplied from our Brisbane factory, AVAILABLE CUT TO LENGTH, Drilled, Prime Painted, Hot Dip Galvanized or with any extra fabrication as may be required. Structural Channels apart from being used as supporting members are also commonly used in the house raising industry to strengthen timber bearers under houses. The PFC's are generally bolted, at 600mm centres, alongside of existing timber bearers when a house is raised or when supporting columns are removed to open up the available area under a building. The design and detailing of such should be carried out by a qualified Engineer. Scott Metals can supply
PFC's pre-drilled and prime painted to your requirements typically within 48 hours
