Structural Channels, known as PFC's (Parallel Flange Channels), supplied from our Brisbane depot. PFC Channels, AVAILABLE CUT TO LENGTH, Drilled, Prime Painted, Hot Dip Galvanised or with any extra fabrication required. Structural Steel PFC Channels, apart from being used as supporting members are also commonly used in the house raising industry to strengthen timber bearers under houses. The PFC's are generally bolted, at 600mm centres, alongside existing timber bearers when a house is raised or when supporting columns are removed to open up the available area under a building. The design & detailing of such is carried out by a qualified Engineer. Scott Metals

These products are used to replace old timber stumps which were easily sourced and cheap.
