Roof Riser Columns: Used mainly in the construction of fly over roofs. At Scott Metals we use Trade Quality Heavy Duty 65NB (76.1OD x 3.6mm thick) Structural Grade Steel Pipe in the manufacture of our Standard Roof Riser Support Posts for domestic applications.

Roof Riser Columns: Fully Hot Dip Galvanised Vertical Top Plate and Pipe Column.

Vertical Tops are 125mm High x 8mm thick and have 2 x 14mm Holes. The pipe is cut to desired length and then a 200mm long x 8mm thick Base Plate (pre-drilled with 2 x 14mm holes) is welded onto the pipe. Base plates are Cold Galv Primed after welding. The Plates are Fully Welded to the column with a 6mm continuous fillet weld, ensuring strength and structural integrity.

Top Plate & Pipe are Fully Hot Dip Galvanised, Base Plate is painted with a Zinc Rich Cold Galvanised Primer Paint to assist with rust prevention after fabrication.

Dektites: Lead FREE, designed as an environmentally friendly seal for all Metal or Tiled roof applications. Safe for rain water harvesting. Suits all pipe sizes up to 120mm. Metal Roof - highly durable EPDM cone and base with aluminium flexible edge strip, just screw it down, NO silicone required. Tile Roof - EPDM cone on a 99.9% pure aluminium base.
