CLEAR ANODISED FINISH FOR SUPERIOR WEAR AND SCRATCH RESISTANCE

Scott Metals supply Non-Slip Extruded Aluminium Step Treads to complement our range of Steel Stair Stringers. Aluminium Step Treads are virtually maintenance free, aesthetically pleasing, termite proof, and are non-combustible. Adjustable fixing positions are integrated into the design of the Step Tread making installation simple. The ribbed grooves on the Stair Tread extend over the front edge for a maximised grip area. Clear Anodised Finish, far superior to Mill, better wear and scratch resistance in high traffic areas.

Finishes: Clear Anodised, far superior to Mill finished treads, offers better wear and scratch resistance. Anodising is better for aluminum in high traffic areas where the coating is subject to physical abuse and abrasive cleaners. Anodising cannot peel, chip, flake or blister. The coating is actually part of the metal. Anodising gives aluminum a deeper, richer metallic appearance.

Aluminium Step Treads are Bushfire resistant. Reaction to 'Fire Tests and Burning Behavior' conducted by AWTA Product Testing, resulted in findings of "Does Not Ignite". This makes the use of Aluminium Step Treads suitable for Bushfire prone areas. When installed in conjunction with Steel Stair Stringers a homes resistance to Bushfire attack is significantly improved.
